Since We Last Met

North of Dixie dropped nearly six months ago. Short of getting married and becoming a father, nothing matches the satisfaction of speaking at world-class research libraries or spotting my book for sale at the new National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Yet despite all of the excitement, it’s been nearly six months since my last blog post. Pathetic, I know. I had intended to keep up a steady stream of short posts reflecting upon events, sharing insightful articles, and new research finds. But alas, here I am fifteen events later, with little to show or read.

In the weeks and months ahead I will share some of my favorite articles and interviews. To tide you over, here’s a good on from VICE. And, I will provide links to recordings and share picture from a whole¬†spate of readings, signings, and special events that took place straight into February 2017.

Now that I have caught my breath, I just may set up a few new book events and readings, so check back often. Perhaps there will be an event near you and we can meet up. I always enjoy hearing what readers think about the book. Peace.
